Pete Jones, principal of Manurewa High, has just told @Breakfaston1 that 10% of the school's students haven't returned post lockdown. And roughly 100 of those young people were senior students who've taken supermarket & courier jobs (etc) to help keep their families afloat...

Since alert level 4 we have seen a huge reliance on digital technology also highlighting some of the enduring issues education currently faces lnkd.in/gx-xEuy
