October 7th changed the world, and completely changed mine. I cannot rest until I know I did everything I could to inspire, educate, and empower our people, and make the world a better place for my daughter and future generations of Jews. Never Again is NOW.

Israel is the test case. Strip away its history, rewrite the story, manufacture a cause, and suddenly terrorism is “resistance” and self-defense is “aggression.” The same formula will be applied to Britain and to Western Europe. The same voices that delegitimize Israel’s right to defend itself will one day delegitimize your right to defend your own people. Erase the facts, invent a victimhood narrative, and brand the natives as oppressors. That is the script. Today it’s Israel. Tomorrow it’s you.

The remarkable thing about this is how widespread it is. It happens on campus, online, at work, at dinner parties and potluck dinners and school drop-off and school pick-up and on and on. All of these unhappy interactions amount to the same surreality, the same lie: We have no problem with Jews, just Zionists. If one protests, if one says, This is the same distinction that Jews have been asked to make over the many centuries -- we have no problem with your Jewishness, just this core part of it -- one is inevitably met with the unthinking, "Genocide!" There's no point in getting into that debate, because it is now religion among so-called progressives. One has to embrace the belief that the Jews are guilty of the worst of all possible crimes, and if you do not believe it, if you do not declare your support vociferously and unequivocally, you'll be excommunicated from polite society. Ghettoized. The contemporary "left" is simply reenacting the hatreds, the myopias, the violence, of all the antisemites who came before. It imagines itself, arrogantly, ignorantly, transcending the past. It is, in fact, a slave to it.

An American Jewish woman living in Barcelona reached out to me, saying that she and her wife were denied entry last night to a thermal bath, reportedly because they are Jewish. She documented the exchange on video and filed a report with the Mossos d’Esquadra afterwards. What's even more heartbreaking is how bystanders chose to stay silent during the exchange. Their lack of action only enabled what seemed to be a moment void of humanity. Shame on all of them.

@nithyavraman No thank you, LA doesn’t need a socialist mayor who already destroyed her district, and LA Jews don’t need a racist antizionist who spreads blood libels.

Israel just published a detailed dossier on UN bias in Gaza. Most people won't read it. Here's what's in it: 🔹 OCHA undercounted aid trucks entering Gaza by nearly 10,000 vs. Israel's own records 🔹 UNRWA staff participated in Oct. 7 — the UN called it "a few bad apples" and opened no serious investigation 🔹 The IPC famine report relied on an undisclosed dataset with measurements that exceeded anything in medical literature 🔹 UN Women ignored Israeli victims entirely 🔹 The Secretary-General blacklisted the IDF while staying silent on Hamas This isn't Israel crying bias. It's a documented, agency-by-agency breakdown. Read it yourself: govextra.gov.il/un-gaza-bias

Four days before Israel declared independence, Golda Meir made a desperate secret trip to Amman. Disguised as an Arab woman, she met with King Abdullah of Transjordan — an Arab leader who acknowledged Jewish rights to the Land & who many hoped may choose peace. Abdullah had long kept private contacts with Zionist leaders. He dreamed of a Greater Syria under Hashemite rule and saw cooperation with the Jews as strategically useful. In their November 1947 meeting, he had hinted at possible accommodation. But by May 1948, the Arab world was locked in rejection. Abdullah told Golda he was now “one of several” — no longer free to act alone. Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon were all committed to destroying the Jewish state the moment it was born. He still wanted peace with his Jewish neighbors. But he felt trapped. Before they parted, the King looked at Golda and said these remarkable words: “I believe with all my heart that divine providence has brought you back here, restoring you to the Semitic East which needs your knowledge and initiative. Conditions are now difficult, but be patient.” It was a poignant, almost prophetic farewell. King Abdullah paid for his pragmatism with his life. On July 20, 1951, while visiting Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, he was assassinated by a local Arab gunman acting on orders from the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem and Nazi war criminal, Amin al-Husseini. Peace with Jews was considered treason. This became a tragic pattern: moderate Arab leaders who dared acknowledge Jewish rights or seek accommodation were sidelined, exiled, or killed. From 1948 onward, maximalist rejectionism has been rewarded while moderation has been punished. Yet the Jewish state survived — and thrived anyway.

@ChrisVanHollen Biden stopped weapon shipments to Israel while Americans were held hostage. They tried to get him to not go into Rafah. The vice president was spreading the “genocide” libel. 40/47 Dem senators just voted not to send weapons or bulldozers to Israel. How is that “unconditional?”

Democrats have provided reflexive & unconditional support to Netanyahu & Israeli governments, even as they undermined the values we claimed to stand for.   It's time to end taxpayer-funded support & condition arms sales to end the occupation & salvage a 2-state solution. nytimes.com/2026/05/26/opi…

Jew in a Canoe ✡️🇨🇦 memoir now available!
People believe that because 700,000 Palestinians were displaced in an Arab war 80 years ago that today they're entitled to wage massacres, bomb busses, hijack planes, and recruit activists for a global intifada. People also believe that because 9 million Jews were displaced in WW2 and 6 million of them were exterminated and nearly another million were ethnically cleansed by Arabs, that they're entitled to no self defense or sovereignty and that “their victim card expired." This is the confluence of the racism of low expectations and raw antisemitism.

For 70 years, America has pressured Israel. It has not worked. When we have pressured Arab countries, like Carter with Egypt and Trump with the Gulf States, it has. There is simply no incentive for Palestine to make peace. The PA and Hamas have not accepted any terms in decades. The closest they got last time, they walked away from half of Jerusalem and started the Second Intifada. Why do we insist on pursuing a foreign policy that obviously does not work? Does our White Savior Complex blind us so to the fact that Israelis and Palestinians are both responding rationally to incentives? To wit, the last time Israel came to the table with Palestine in good faith, they were rewarded with the Second Intifada. When they came to the table with the Saudis, they got October 7th. What consequences did Palestine bear for making war? Well, not really any that means anything to them. Their economy is still dependent on billions of dollars of international aid. Their leaders are wealthy and have not moderated at all. They are still supported by states that America pretends aren't spending millions to pump out anti-West and antisemitic propaganda all over the world that valorizes terrorism and encourages people to kill those among them that even hint at normalizing with Israel. One you incentivize Palestine to make war, and let the world punish Israel for trying to make peace, the result is well, what we have. Have we considered trying something different? Or are we too entranced by our own narcissist false ideas of the world, where Arabs have no agency and Israelis are shadowy perfidious capitalist imperialists?
Senator Peter Welch@SenPeterWelch

I agree with @ChrisVanHollen. The status quo on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is unacceptable. Netanyahu’s government is burying the two-state solution with U.S.-funded weapons and a blank check. The next Democratic President should recognize a State of Palestine and stop providing offensive weapons to Israel until Israel agrees to a plan to end the occupation.

It’s interesting, of all the racist Jew-hating abuse I get online, the vast majority is on Threads. I see people saying X is the cesspool, but in my experience it has been tame in comparison. Not sure why that is.
