I think this quote is actually extremely telling in how good and versatile the coaching in Chicago is given how the shot profile has changed from the DeMar years to now, but I’m guessing this becomes a #thing on here.

You do learn a lot…from a team who’s 2 star players get quite a few buckets by post turn around jumpers & middys & play really great defense taking away 3pt shots and easy paint drives.
They take those 2 elements away & you get blowouts like these. 💯

What a nightmare first half the Bulls. The Raptors bring the bruising physicality that our young developing players just can’t handle yet. But you learn more in these games than you do vs the G-League Warriors/Grizzlies.

The Chicago Bulls have not "prohibited" midrange shots. The Chicago Bulls have not "prioritisied" midrange shots. There is a difference. This approach is a good and basic tactical decision. This is a non-issue. Thanks for your attention on the matter.

@mkhoops2 Says the guy refusing to acknowledge which players he’s referring to. Easy to make a blanket statement and give zero evidence to support it. There is no disconnect. I’ve giving reasons as to both why he’s sometimes been a good coach and sometimes been a poor coach.

@LocalBullsFan Agreed. Ant is awesome with the long ball. That’s not a critique from me to Finch. I think they handled it right. But he got blowback for it initially, encouraging more Ant 3s. I just find it ironic given this Ayo stuff

@mkhoops2 Now Ant is one of the best shooters in the league.
I do believe there could be a method behind the “madness” (ex: Giddey no longer taking that horrific floater) but it’ll always circle back to the roster flaws.
