The shame/surprise is that biggest cuts are expected in media (where GenAI is a poor substitute for actual creativity) and not in those industries in which whole layers of jobs just churn out powerpoint.

@ElenaAdaal If you were EU citizen for your whole life and had made financial family decisions on that basis, would you not expect politicians to protect those interests?
I don’t understand how protecting individual citizens’ rights undermines EU. If anything, it strengthens EU citizenship.

No, the difference is that whilst Ukraine is the victim, having been invaded by Russia, Hamas and Palestinian civilians are the aggressors, having attacked Israeli civilians.
