@dwlz Which one has the best vim mode? Doing auto complete with neovim was dog slow today.

Neovim is losing, and losing badly, to Zed, Cursor, and other editors with better UX. Even regular Vim wins. Setting up LSP shouldn't take several days of digging through reddit and archived repos to get things working. DOA. Wish it weren't this way.

We have a long history of forgetting to revisit some dated TODOs in our monorepo. So, after one too many times of this happening, I ended up adding an ESLint rule to catch these sorts of comments in our monorepo (I'm calling them time bombs). Works like this: // TIMEBOMB: Check this on 2025-03-01 CI passes today, but will start failing on March 2, 2025. This basically forces us to review code that we knew was okay on the day we wrote it, but should have an expiration date. Right before merging it surfaced several items we needed to take a look at. Pretty stoked.

When do we admit that college football bowl games that aren’t playoff related are useless? When does the attendance and tv ratings go so low that no one watches? 2030?
