had a tomato while i was traveling in the Pacific Northwest and almost cried because it was so good the stuff we get on most of the east coast is absolute garbage and it's an absolute shame they're usually so inedible i'm driven to kumatoes

@dcinvestor @amazon I’m cheap so I always order from Amazon Warehouse with the expectation of an open box. The only fail so far was a used frying pan (wtf?), otherwise I’ve been consistently satisfied. The LED TV I recently received from the WH at steep discount was clearly unopened. Switched boxes?

anecdotally, feels like when i order certain electronics especially from @amazon next day delivery, i am increasingly being sent open box or repackaged stuff i don’t have a problem with Amazon reselling that stuff, but typically retailers disclose & give an open box discount 🤷‍♂️
