😊...my aunt is a high court judge. She told me in the course of all the drama of my uncle's inheritance, her court registry staff told her they could get documents missing just to thwart the process. This was their way of showing solidarity.
I have a personal experience with court registry staff. They're horrendous.
I have been saying that Nigeria has an institutional problem not a leadership problem.
The civil and public service are Nigeria's biggest enemies.

Update: Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was arraigned and a 5-count charge bothering on allegations of phone tapping allegations were read to him. He pleaded not guilty to all of them. However an affidavit filed by his lawyers could not be found. It is missing in the file before Judge. The matter has been stood down for that to be sorted out.

🇳🇬 JUST IN: Nasir El-Rufai Set to Miss ADC Primaries as Court Adjourns Bail Hearing to June Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, may be unable to participate in the upcoming African Democratic Congress (ADC) primaries following a fresh development in his ongoing trial. Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court has adjourned the hearing of El-Rufai’s bail application to the first week of June 2026. El-Rufai is currently being arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on multiple charges bordering on alleged financial crimes and abuse of office. The adjournment places the former governor at risk of missing the ADC primaries, which are scheduled to hold between late April and the end of May 2026, in line with the electoral timetable issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to the Premium Times exclusive I just read, the sacked Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, was yelling at the President during a cabinet meeting on the 10th of December 2025.
The ADC to the President had to move over to Mr. Edun’s seat to warn him to stop yelling at the President.
It’s the audacity for me.

They planned everything in Abuja, then pushed it to Kaduna for implementation. Now when you ask the people in Abuja, they will act clueless and say it’s a “state issue” like they had nothing to do with it. It’s a calculated way to avoid responsibility.
But what’s even worse is the Kaduna man who agreed to be used like this to humiliate Mallam, the same person he once openly said made him who he is today. That’s not just betrayal, it’s pure hypocrisy.
So honestly, does he think this will end well for him? With all this backstabbing? Things like this don’t just disappear.

Iran snubbed the the second negotiation and the went back to Tehran to start displaying missiles.
They thought Trump would cancel the ceasefire and start fighting them.
But no. Trump's new strategy is working excellently.
Trump just extended the ceasefire by himself without removing the blockade.
And made returned the clause to Iran - if the submit a new proposal, the blockade might be removed.
No ships is still going to enter or leave Iranian ports.
Trading between China and Iran remains in Trump's palms.
And the Regime continues to lose $500 million dollars every day.
Trump seems to have cornered Iran.
