Some Threads stats (per SensorTower): Last week, Insta did 25m installs, Threads 6.5m, Twitter 3m. Insta had 1b DAU, Twitter 200m, Threads 16m D1 / D30 - Insta 70% / 54%, Twitter 46% / 28%, Threads 37% / 8%. Threads seems to have a lot of people trying it out but nowhere near the engagement needed to challenge Twitter seriously - for now anyway. Also Twitter DAU has seen no change as a result of Threads.

@EricRWeinstein It has been really bad. Far left San Francisco/Berkeley views have been propagated to the world via Twitter. I’m sure this comes as no surprise to anyone watching closely. Twitter is moving rapidly to establish an even playing field. No more thumb on the scale!

Can we get audits of how much these manipulators controlled/distorted the world’s online conversations by throttling, bots, shadow banning, banning, etc and general dirty tricks for years? This question isn’t going away. The graph below is an *indirect* throttling indication.
