tokenize everything ≠ coin everything a token is just a marker. most tokens have no or fractional real-world value (rip my chuck e. cheese token collection). a token can be anything. they are almost always illiquid. the term "coin" implies a liquid market. it implies value, relatively stable value even. it does not imply ownership of some greater concept. it literally means "money" @zora figured something out that could be HUGELY beneficial to artists willing to release more mass-market works: ERC20s can effectively have enforced royalties through a well-engineered LP structure. 721s and 1155s can't even remotely promise this. If we're going to make this whole crypto-creator (expanding past "art" here) thing work we need new economic systems. This is one that works on paper, which is more than I can say for just about every other way of making money as a content creator. it has to be marketed as more than just making money. more than a change in the secondary market. it has to be marketed as a way of pairing the creator and the consumer better across a decentralized platform. that is the fundamental promise of web3. tokens >>>>> coins
