The core problem with violations; injuries; death on set is that the “product” is prioritized and protected more than any human being. And the channel/streamers, who benefit most from said product, never have to account for what happens on the road to delivering that product.

Believing victims is one of our most important tools to fight GBV. Statistically speaking the victim is almost always telling the truth. The cascading effect is more victims coming forward and stopping more assaults. Chances are it was not the first time or the last.

Just to be clear...
I wholeheartedly support Xolo's take. I'm actually one of those people who skip explicit sex scenes, and there are shows I have avoided watching completely because of that.
That said, sex scenes, even explicit ones, if they serve the story, I have no problem with.
E.G. Adulting is like "Sex And The City" for men. The sex scenes make sense for the premise of the show and the characters.
My aversion is when these scenes pop-up in random shows where they aren't adding anything beyond shock factor to the show.
Same with excessive violence. Does it serve the story? Does it move the plot forward? Can the story hold without it?
