@MadcapCreations I had gotten dozens of requests--and rejections--for my book. I kept revising and revising. Ended up with 6 agent offers and a publishing deal.

One of the last rejections I received said I needed to start my book in a more compelling place. Tbh I had no idea what she meant so I kept it the same. Within a month, I had 2 offers of rep from 2 fantastic agents. Don't get discouraged. Just because it isn't hitting right with one doesn't mean it won't with others.

If a publisher or literary agent didn't like the ending of your book, would you be willing to change it? Personally, I believe I could. I like the idea of being challenged to see it another way.

Aww farmers are having a big cry now that they realize that all the cheap labor they had been using is in great danger of being deported. Now those farmers will actually have to pay a living wage and the prices of their goods will go through the roof.
