@johnrabe @mmg49072 @OnlyCardsFans He would overreact to things, but as I saw it, he was dealing with a lot and the Cardinals were a major distraction from it. So, if his expectations for them seemed a bit unreasonable, it was because he needed them so much.

I discovered that Scott passed away 2 days after this post.
Scott was a loyal Cardinals fan who told me often of his love for his kids and grandkids.
Condolences to his family. RIP.

Swimming with sharks is fun. Highly recommend having motion sickness and up chucking over the side of the boat. Brings the sharks right up!

I was standing in the Cardinals clubhouse, hearing chants of OLI, OLI, OLI from outside in the hallway. I walk out, and there's Oli -- the manager of the Cardinals, ushering the entire SFA club baseball team into the clubhouse. These boys were absolutely over the moon.
