My position has always been that, if the County Recorder’s Office had spoken with the MCAO to find out what their parameters were and the provided them with a list of outside counsel who, from tour perspective, met those parameters, that could have been avoided. In fairness, you may have done that. I wasn’t part of either side so I’m obviously not privy to that information.

At what point do some of you who have been running your mouths and keyboards trashing Recorder Heap in his fight with the Maricopa Board of Supervisors admit that: A) Heap was right all along B) You weren’t C) MCBOS has been dragged into a personal fight by the former chair that is not and has never been in the interest of the citizens of Maricopa County

I think part of the problem has been the constant switching of counsels and the lack of coordination with the county attorney’s office. So much of this, from an outside perspective, could have been avoided and we could have arrived at this result months ago. It’s a perception problem that I think will have an impact on the public’s perception of both sides depending on how things go in November.

That’s a lie. Israel publicly acknowledged and apologized for the mistake and paid money over the course of multiple decades. Over a series of settlements between 1968 and 1980, Israel paid a total of over $12 million (approximately $128 million in 2026 currency) for the loss of life, injuries to crew, and damages to the ship. This is why purveyors of antisemitism are not trusted. You say things that are just not true to justify your hatred of Israel and the Jewish people.
