Will they also do it for Arizona public schools? For example, for "the 2024-2025 school year, only 52.1 cents of every dollar spent by Arizona public school districts goes directly into the classroom for instruction (teacher salaries, aides, supplies), a decrease from the previous year and the lowest rate in over two decades. While total funding has increased, a high proportion of spending is allocated to non-instructional areas." Does this not matter to Democrat legislators? I haven’t been tweeting much, as we’re finishing up final exams for the year and I’ve been focused on that. Here’s a serious question. What is in the resources ordered by the judge that could not have been negotiated as part of an agreement with the Board? I understand that you and Recorder @azjustinheap probably wanted a court ruling that said the previous SSA was wrong as a political win, and I can see the political upside for you in that, but couldn’t you have gotten those resources by negotiating with the Board? From the outside looking in, it just looks like something that could have been negotiated to a settlement a year ago, or at the beginning of 2026 at the latest.

@Garrett_Archer Notice that it’s a tiny sample of 63 transactions and the auditor says not to project to the entire population. Also, missing documentation and “possible misuse” shouldn’t be conflated with unallowable expenses.
