Well put, Priyanka. Till some years ago I wanted to travel to 🇹🇷 mostly because I admire Orhan Pamuk whose books have left a deep impression on me. But I have realised that what he portrays in his books is a nostalgic reflection of his times. Türkiye as he says suffers from a deep identity crisis, caught between East and West, modernity and tradition.
