For historical & tracking purposes, this is a listing of current medical flower pricing on the day that ROs start selling in the NY AU market (pre-AU/medical co-locations). *Be. and Sunnyside are not currently selling their own flower. 👇Cannabist 👇

@genericmarco @nxd1979 I felt this for quite a while. Too many trips where nerves kept me from grabbing it and cashing out, it’s hard to really fathom how fearful I was

@nxd1979 @JimmyMidyette Being a subscriber was a roller coaster at times. It was a lifeline when no1 else at school came out when i did & needed to feel some connection, but when the magazine actually released was a lot of times out of alignment w/what was promised. 1-3 or 4 months would pass sometimes

I lost my ring on Friday during Word Up because I was waving my hands in the air like I just didn't care. Well now I care. Word Up ruins lives.

@Blazed_Catt Never made the trip myself. MM-branded products only at the time. It’s crazy to reflect on how bad it was, even if there’s still plenty of room for *basic* improvements that were supposed to come from the MRTA.

Contrary to boomer lore, they never tell students what the interest rate will actually be. At best, they get an *estimate* of what the interest rate *might* be. That is because you don't get a student loan. You get student loanS. Here's the way it works... - Each academic year, you get 1-2 loans, subsidized and unsubsidized, which are broken in half and disbursed by semester. - You do not know what the interest rate will be because rates can change year-to-year. - Once you've signed FAFSA, you can't nope out. The money is automatically sent to the university with the student receiving anything left after tuition and room/board (to be used on textbooks etc). - If there is a change in the interest rate, then the student is never notified in writing or even by email. You're expected to "just know." - You do not receive a form to sign for each loan at each interest rate. It's "taken care of." - You don't know what the interest rate will *actually* be until after you graduate. - Even if you get a paid internship (unlikely for most majors), you can't begin making payments early, because nothing gets sent to a payment processor until after you graduate. - You determine your payment plan (10-year, 25-year, or income driven) when you fill out the FAFSA, before you even know what your interest rate will be. Typically, subsidized and unsubsidized loans will have the same interest rate in a given academic year, since they originate at the same time. However, the rates are likely to be different from one year to the next. Furthermore, unsubsidized student loans begin accumulating interest immediately, listed as "capitalized interest." Students do not graduate with a student loan with a single interest rate. They graduate with 4-8 student loans with up to 4 different interest rates. When you graduate, the payment processor will often low-ball the estimated minimum payment. Income driven plans, especially, screw over graduates the worst because the payment amount will normally begin at below the month's accumulated interest and can remain that way for years. The FAFSA website, however, makes these plans look appealing to students using language I can only describe as grossly misleading. So interest keeps piling on. This is made as opaque as possible from the FAFSA paperwork to beginning payment. Determining a practical, minimum monthly payment is 100% on the student. That's literally the tl;dr for how the system works. Make of that information what you will.

What you’re not told about these Americans crying due to their student loans She paid $36,000 over 2 years. Her loan payoff is over $90,000 after all these payments, which is more than what she borrowed They’re paying their loans but can NEVER escape “Like, what the f*ck am I supposed to do? I'm gonna be in debt for my whole f*cking life. How does that even make sense? I signed up for this shit when I was 17. Like, this should not be legal” The interest rate is 17%

@concertvids34 I also had a group of ladies having a conversation right next to me during Loving Wings, loud enough it wasn’t just chatter but the actual conversation was heard - sure as hell wasn’t time sensitive to discuss at that moment.

@concertvids34 What the hell, that’s really obnoxious. It’s bad enough to possibly ruin someone’s live experience, but to also mess up a recording for future listens. Come on, people!
