Greatly saddened by the too-soon passing of #FernandoValenzuela. As a Mexican-American kid and #Dodgers fan, I was among the millions inspired and thrilled by his magic in the 1981 season. QEPD. ¡Y que viva, Fernando! He was the rare Mexican hero seen in mass media. Go, Dodgers!

Visited the Memorial of the Los Gatos Creek Canyon airplane crash of 1948. 32 people perished, including 28 Bracero farmworkers whose identities were unknown until recently. They were buried without notification of next of kin in mass grave in Fresno, CA, marked as Deportees.
