The @ECISVEEP has been given the charge of securing Bengal for @BJP4India at any cost. The deviousness of this project is for all to see. Shameful beyond words.

Some in the Congress, and others, are gloating about TMC’s loss. They need to understand this clearly - the theft of Assam and Bengal’s mandate is a big step forward by the BJP in its mission to destroy Indian democracy. Put petty politics aside. This is not about one party or another. This is about 🇮🇳.

Manipulation is being pushed as Masterstroke. Arm Twisting is being called Strength. Hijacking of institutions is a Strategy. Kindly note that, The flood of the analysis that overrun the truth is actually a disservice to democracy!

Have Indian elections fallen below the minimum acceptable threshold of electoral integrity? How can the Opposition refuse to legitimise curated election results without seeming to run away from the battleground? When and where does the Opposition drawthe line, if not now, if not after West Bengal? My article in the @IndianExpress on the big questions that all of us face after these results.

This is like watching a cancer spread in the body. Karnataka, Telangana and TN are already ripe for falling. I've never been more pessimistic in my life.

It's not enough that you watch the destruction of democracy. You also have to listen to brain-dead, mediocre & vomit-inducing punditry that's almost entirely aimed at punching the losers. Political reporting in this country is the absolute worst.

BJP is not winning elections anymore. They are capturing the process, gaming the institutions and manufacturing mandates. - West Bengal - Assam - Haryana - Madhya Pradesh - Maharashtra - Lok Sabha elections The real winners are the Election Commission.
Parth MN@parthpunter

Important story by @madhuparna_N 1.39 crore votes for the BJP vs 1.26 crore for Trinamool -- a gap of merely 12 to 13 lakh votes. But.... Nearly 91 lakh voters were deleted in the process, including around 27 lakh who were under adjudication and had to reapply for their voting rights. news18.com/elections/west… news18.com/elections/west… news18.com/elections/west…

“Finally, let us acknowledge the most unsettling truth of the West Bengal elections. The outcome was not a simple reflection of popular will. The BJP’s victory in the state was curated by the central government and the EC”: Yogendra Yadav indianexpress.com/article/opinio…

@pbmehta @IndianExpress Anyone commending BJPs political energies without taking note of its cynical capture of institutions and its undermining of the constitution, is a fraud. Sorry Mr Mehta.

People of Bengal will get the true taste of @BJP4India once the project of saffronization begins in earnest. When the UP and Assam play book will be unleashed and when the Bajrangis will be given a free hand. Good luck to them.

If a regime is rigging elections, election analysis is just timepass to keep up the facade of democracy With 27 lakhs voters awaiting adjudication after being disenfranchised, the election was stolen before a single vote was cast. And we’re supposed to clap for BJP’s genius! 🤡

Interesting to see people indulge in usual election analyses for Assam and West Bengal as if anything about this election was usual. Muslim voters were actively disenfranchised by the state, and many went along with it because they didn’t mind the anti-Muslim hijack.

Assam and Bengal are clear cases of the election being stolen by the BJP with the support of the EC. We agree with Mamata ji. More than 100 seats were stolen in Bengal. We have seen this playbook before: Madhya Pradesh. Haryana. Maharashtra. Lok Sabha 2024 etc चुनाव चोरी, संस्था चोरी - अब और चारा ही क्या है!
