‘The Fate of Ophelia’ by Taylor Swift becomes the first single in Billboard Hot 100 history to debut at #1 without any pure sales. The song was not available for individual purchase during its first week of release, selling over 600k units based on streaming alone.

A lot of young people don’t understand Showgirl because it’s extremely reminiscent of 2000’s/ early 2010’s pop when songs actually used to rhyme and have hooks that stuck in your head.

Like most Taylor albums, people will calm down and sit with it. They'll accept that it wasn't what they expected and that they formed conclusions too quickly, and then years down the line, we'll all reassess how we actually feel about it.

Philly was a dream, honestly. Playing three nights in the stadium I used to see on tv when my dad watched Eagles games every Sunday. The most magical 3 hometown shows a girl could hope for.
