@moaalabou the distinction between tools, automation, and agents is so underrated. most teams jump straight to "we need an agent" when a well-designed API integration would solve 80% of their problem in a fraction of the time and cost
English

@bettercallsalva exactly! I think most companies would benefit greatly from "going slow" and identifying what actually works...instead of just chasing the latest fad!
English

@moaalabou this is right. half the 'we need an agent' conversations should end with 'put it on a cron job and a webhook'. agents matter when there's actual branching reasoning. linear pipelines pretending to be smart just waste tokens.

all of a sudden two weeks later everyone is talking about html? lol?
i have a distribution problem, ma, and i don't know how to resolve this loop yet.

Long answers are useful, but they are not always pleasant to read inside the terminal. This extension captures long assistant replies, keeps them available for later export, and lets you turn them into browser-opened HTML in one step. You can now have your Pi and eat it too...
English

@zakelfassi unironically, even LinkedIn might be effective for distribution 😅

@moaalabou i gotta go back to making youtubes instead of this botforsaken place

March to Mainnet 08/05 🏃
This weekly dev report is a little different to usual. As you’ll see, we are at the very final stages of preparing Powfi for Mainnet. The last few important blockers are being dealt with.
Let’s begin.
✅ Frontend is feature-complete for mainnet launch.
✅ No new bug reports.
In short, Powfi’s frontend is ready, with the devs handing over the reins to the backend team.
✅ Integrated, tested, and checked farming rewards, protocol fee conversion, and referral program.
✅ All features required for mainnet have been approved by one of three reviewers.
There are two further rounds of smart contract audits remaining, as well as reviews for other aspects of Powfi.
✅ Added websocket support, making certain queries more efficient.
🌐 Added a “Grant Recipient” option to the tag filter bar on the Explore page.
🌐 Added the “Grant Recipient” tag to the JSON files of 14 dApps.
🌐 Fixed the Explore dApps link in the navigation bar, changing it from “/” to “/explore” (desktop + mobile).
🌐 Fixed the homepage Hero card so the entire card is clickable for navigation (previously only the project name was clickable).
🌐 The email notification system is currently under development, with a plan to enable sending email notifications when users receive awards or rewards, and later also when new bounties are posted (expected to go live next week).
Thank you to @1450Digital for the data (see analytics below).
⌨️ Over 1,200 unique visitors have checked out Ralphskills.
⌨️ 437 total installs of the Ralphskills CLI.
⌨️ An unknown number of devs building in stealth!
That’s a wrap for this week!
As always, your patience is much appreciated.
The finish line is in sight 🏁

@raduC22 @linx_labs @alephium would love to see this being built in public!
kudos for all of the work done and looking forward to seeing how @linx_labs keeps on evolving!
English

There are still many questions to be answered down the road, but I am excited for what this could bring to @linx_labs and @alephium
Also let me know in comments what do you think about this initiative, what potential problems do you see (and what are the solutions 😀).
And if you'd like us to build this "in public", this would be more granular updates, some very technical, as we make progress.
And thanks for reading until here!🫡

Wanted to share some insights into what I meant by "new collateral types". Will be a thread.
Most used collaterals in DeFi lending are ETH, BTC and recently more and more RWAs in loops.
On Linx we have the L1 token, $ALPH and bridged $WBTC from Ethereum as the 2 collaterals that can be used to borrow.

91% utilization means borrowing demand is outpacing supply. Growing from here means either more ALPH holders depositing, or new collateral types that bring in new borrowers. We'll be working on the second one.

@smakosh @trust_mrr I mean some of them showed apps with <$100 MRR which I appreciated 😅 truly shows how much works goes into building scalable products
English

lots of them are doing to sell courses/books what ever. Others are faking it but you can verify that on @trust_mrr or through Stripe itself (if enabled by that person). While a minority are doing it to prove/inspire others that bootstrapped profitable businesses exist, you don't require VC money to grow a profitable business, you don't really need to be in SF/SV to grow etc....
