If you buy a Porsche sports car and they come with anything other than Michelin tyres - IMO negotiate a set of them off the asking price. Or reject the car. So annoyed I’ve wasted a year on the wrong bloody tyres.

I’ve had an eBay account for 14 years, have 100% feedback as I only sell things I no longer need but I know are of good quality and working including cars etc. Had a guy buy an electronic device from me on 22nd October last year, was delivered on the 29th. He then messaged me on 22nd December, almost 2 months after delivery saying he’s having trouble with it. I went out of my way to help, including ringing the company I purchased the item from (they were less than helpful). He’s now threatening to ask eBay to return the item if I can’t help further despite me having ‘No Returns’ at point of sale and being a private seller. What do you reckon? Absolute chancer who won’t get anywhere or will eBay take his side as the seller despite it being complete unfair on me? I want to respond and not just ignore his latest message.

@Phonemast Can’t say I’m a fan of the MOCN. When it works it works. Though after a period of inactivity it’ll boot you back to VF B20 again, certainly here in Peterborough. I’m a VF Business user. If I need 5G then I have to restart phone every 10 mins.

@AutoInfatuation You might find it does actually have a dip stick but the top will be black. Quite a few BMWs with electronic measuring still have dip sticks.

One downside to doing a lot of miles in a big Petrol is it needs a top up of oil at least twice between engine services. Not that costly to buy but due to the the N74 engine not having a physical dipstick you’ve either got to remember to ask the car to check its levels (which can only be done after 30 or so mins of driving) or wait for the dreaded BMW bong to tell you that it ‘desperately’ needs 2L of Oil RIGHT NOW!!!! I’ve been safe and topped it up right at the cusp of it moaning 🛢️ Also my engine bay needs a clean and the little BMW Individual spec plaque always makes me happy for some reason ☺️
