There was no reason to take shots at NADECO. None. Lol. Bola Tinubu is literally the president. He is more than big enough for whatever shots. But this dude had to have a go at NADECO in a desperate attempt to rubbish the work of some other people that aren’t the president or even in the APC. I wonder what Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola thinks about that.

"You have no light at the airport, and I have to fly back within the next 10 minutes... To the victims, there's nothing I can give you but promise you this experience will not repeat itself." Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu says that his government will do its best to support the victims.

“I speak directly to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu: with 90% of the National Assembly and over 30 of Nigeria’s 36 Governors in the APC, President Tinubu, what are you afraid of? “If you are convinced that you have done well for the people who voted for you, why are you afraid of a free, fair, and transparent electoral contest? If you are indeed the democrat that you claim to be, why are you bent on destroying all opposition political parties?” -Senator David Mark, Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC)

Court Rejects Bid to Bar Senator Ireti Kingibe from ADC Activities Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has rejected an attempt by leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Wuse Ward, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to bar Senator Ireti Kingibe from participating in party activities following her alleged suspension. Instead, the judge directed the ward leaders—said to be loyal to the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike—to serve notice on the senator, requiring her to appear in court and respond to their grievances. Justice Lifu emphasized that discretion in political matters must be exercised judicially and judiciously. He noted that justice can only be achieved when both the plaintiffs and the defendant are heard on the merits of the case. The judge ordered that Senator Kingibe be served with all court processes to ensure she is aware of the suit and can prepare her defense. The matter was adjourned to April 20, 2026, for hearing of all applications. The suit, marked FHC/ABJ/CV/539/2026, was filed by Okezuo Godfrey Anayo and Isaiah Ojonugwa Samuel, representing themselves and other ward members. Senator Kingibe is the sole defendant. Allegations Against Senator Kingibe In their ex-parte application, the plaintiffs alleged that Senator Kingibe, who represents the FCT in the Senate, was suspended on March 10, 2026 by her Wuse Ward executives for anti-party activities, gross misconduct, and confiscation of ward statutory records. They argued that the suspension followed due process as outlined in the ADC constitution and was ratified by a two-thirds majority of the ward executive committee. Despite the suspension, the plaintiffs claimed Kingibe continued to hold parallel meetings, issue press statements as an ADC member, and use her security details to intimidate the ward executives. Her actions, they said, amounted to “flagrant disregard for the internal mechanisms of the party.” The plaintiffs, represented by Kolawole Olowookere, SAN, sought interim orders restraining Senator Kingibe from parading herself as an ADC member, attending meetings or performing functions reserved for party members, interfering with ward administration, registers, and other activities. Meanwhile, lawyer Abubakar Marshall, who claimed to represent Senator Kingibe, announced that he had filed a preliminary objection against the suit. He stated that the objection had been served on M. S. Garba, counsel for the plaintiffs, during Thursday’s proceedings.

Yesterday defenders of democracy, today's destroyers, What a shame. What an irony of history, that the acclaimed defenders of democracy and human rights who claimed to have fought for democracy during the era of General Sani Abacha now find themselves worse than the man they opposed. Today, General Sani Abacha, once presumed face of oppression, will be remembered as seemingly more democratic and more respectful of human rights than the so-called champions of activism from the NADECO days. Power indeed reveals character. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."- JF Kennedy Sharing Rice has failed City Boy Movement has collapsed The 31 Governors' gimmick has failed Recruiting Celebrities and Defluencers has failed Highjacking the Legislative/ Judiciary has failed Destroying PDP/LP and hijacking almost all Political Parties has failed. Bribing Imans/ Pastors/ Royal Families has failed It is NOW TIME to attack ADC, the coalition's party.😂😂 This is just a reminder to those who have seen all the above happen and thought it was the end, and said, “He has already Guaranteed 2nd term!” The Power of the People has, is, and will continue to be greater than the people in power. All my life as a Nigerian, I have NEVER witnessed this number of Nigerians openly calling for a REVOLUTION or Military Coup. Tinubu has really sparked something here, and this his latest move to silence the opposition. Using INEC will not end well for him. Nigeria is not LAGOS! TINUBU IS A ONE-TERM PRESIDENT (OTP).

Tinubu is inadvertently setting a trap for himself. His action is fueling public anger, awakening those who were once indifferent and pushing the undecided toward the opposition. History shows that the more a ruling party suppresses the opposition, the less popular it becomes.

Sowore’s party in 2019, 2023 and coming 2027 election will accumulate about 50k votes without rigging, if me and Sabinus contest right now, we will do better than that, nobody will waste resources on Sowore.
Dr. Kenon@drkenon2

Any party Peter Obi goes, they will create a faction immediately. In fact, they don’t want any opposition party because the same thing is happening in PDP. Only Sowore’s party is safe from all this. What does it tell you?

The ADC is not my cup of tea, but there is now reasonable basis to infer existence of a well orchestrated sinister conspiracy to truncate contested and credible elections in 2027. From what is publicly available, all the Executives of the ADC resigned to allow David Mark and Aregbesola to emerge as the National Chairman and the National Secretary respectively. The man who took the case to the court, Nafiu Gombe, claims that he did not resign as Deputy National Chairman, and that he ought to have automatically assumed the position of National Chairman “in line with the Party’s Constitution”. Interestingly, the ADC held a National Executive Committee where the party ratified its new leadership led by Mark. So, what’s the controversy here? Is dispute over the leadership of a political party no longer the internal affairs of the political party? It used to be the law that issues of political party leadership is non justiciable, or forum domesticum. A Party’s NEC has the authority to decide who should lead the party. If the ADC says they want another person to assume that role instead of the Deputy National Chairman, can the Court compel the same Party to submit to its Deputy? Is this dispute justiciable? Also, the Court of Appeal said the parties should maintain status quo ante bellum. This means the state of affairs before the suit before the Federal High Court was filed by the Claimant. Before the suit, who was the Chairman of the Party? Was it not David Mark? Is this INEC saying that the Order of the Court of Appeal implies that there should be leadership vacuum in the ADC until the case is determined by the Federal High Court? Whose script is this INEC playing? It seems that the ruling party, which prides itself as having over thirty governors in its fold, is so scared of a fair contestation. If it is the desire of INEC for Bola Tinubu to contest as a sole candidate - unopposed, in 2027, let the Commission say so publicly. It will save the country the billions of Naira budgeted for the ‘presidential election’.
