THE LCRC NEEDS THOSE WILLING TO LEAD AND SERVE- AND SIGN UP TO FIGHT THE GERRYMANDERING REFERENDUM.
Friends,
This weekend, our committee made a decision. And now, we have something even more important—a chance to move forward together.
Not as factions. Not as past camps. But as one committee, with a shared purpose.
If you supported me, I’m grateful. If you supported Scott, I’m just as grateful. Because what matters now isn’t how you voted—it’s what we do together from here.
And I believe the best days of this committee are still ahead of us.
Before we look forward, we should take a moment to look back with appreciation. To those who have served this committee—who gave their time, knocked doors, made calls, organized events, and carried the weight when it wasn’t easy—your efforts were invaluable. You built the foundation we stand on today, and we are better because of you.
Now it’s time to build on that foundation—together.
It starts with something simple, but powerful: showing up.
If you are a member, I’m asking you to renew your commitment. Stay engaged. Stay involved. We need you.
If you’ve stepped away, I want to personally invite you back. There is a place for you here—and it won’t be the same without you.
And if you believe in what we’re building, bring someone with you. A friend. A neighbor. A family member. That’s how strong organizations grow—not all at once, but one person at a time.
We’re also looking for something more.
We need leaders.
If you—or someone you know—have ever thought about running for office, now is the time to step forward. Our community needs people who are willing to lead, to serve, and to stand up for what matters. If you have questions, we’re here to help. If you’re unsure, we’ll walk with you. No one has to figure it out alone.
Because the future of Loudoun County and Virginia will be shaped by those who choose to step in—not sit back.
And right now, we have important work in front of us.
Our immediate focus is getting our house in order, but it is also getting Loudoun voters to the polls to VOTE NO on the referendum to gerrymander Virginia. The early energy is real. People are showing up. They understand what’s at stake.
Let’s keep that going.
Talk to your neighbors. Call your friends. Share the message. Encourage others to vote. In the end, it’s not complicated—people talking to people is still the most powerful force in politics.
We also need volunteers to serve on committees and on the ground.
If you can give an hour or more between now and April 21 to help hand out flyers at 750 Miller Drive SE in Leesburg through the 18th and then at precincts on April 21, we’d be grateful.

This is how momentum grows—one conversation at a time.
Looking ahead, the midterms are approaching. 2027 will be here before we know it. The work we do now—rebuilding, growing, preparing—will determine what kind of results we achieve.
I am confident in what we can do together.
Because when people come together with a shared purpose, with mutual respect, and with a willingness to do the work—there’s very little they cannot accomplish.
So let’s move forward—with optimism, with determination, and with a renewed sense of purpose.
Not divided by the past—but united by what lies ahead.
Because in the end, it’s about all of us.
And if we move forward together—with purpose, with respect, and with faith in what we’re building—then I have no doubt: our best days are still ahead of us.
Together,
George Taplin
Chairman
Loudoun County Republican Committee
