@minifigamerthe1 True True, the best example is probably the newer Clone Wars figs having normal faceprints aswell... then again those are part of the larger Star Wars theme unlike Pokemon which only really has the anime as a style guide... Even if not full Anime they could've stylized it a bit

@modrail My guess is inter-theme compatibility, a reality of modern lego is that IF they would make exo force today, chances are it'd use the standard faces.
