I feel like our country has changed in the last few days. It seems like more people are waking up, but I also feel less safe.
Walked down the hotel corridor by myself last night and was the only one in sight except for 3 Middle Eastern looking young men standing in a common area near the elevator, and I was honestly frightened and avoided eye contact. Nothing happened, but I don't think I would have thought much about it last Sunday. Last night I couldn't get to our room fast enough.
