@theauroraguy @riotsurvivor The biggest issue with generative AI is that it's trained based on data the authors of which never consented to it being used. Harmful to artists, photographers, writers. Personal opinion: I would have appreciated it more if you drew a wonky dragon in MS Paint. ;)

@riotsurvivor Yes there is that perspective, but I do like playing with it. As long as the post mentions that it's A I don't see the harm.

@AffinityPlay I like how Uncharted 4 did it. Something would sparkle briefly, lightly, from what felt like miles away but you still had to go and search thoroughly in the area. I much prefer items standing out another more subtle way in point & click, though. Not markers, rather "colouring".

Question: Do you prefer games that show you interactive spots in the environment with a tiny marker (let's say from 5-10m away), or do you prefer discovering things on your own? Please comment if you want to elaborate!

@zafs49 I released a whole new UI, overhauled the entire widget editing experience (plus tons of new colour and special effects options), and even added a battery widget, all in July. Please allow developers to take a break. Nobody wants to burn out. 🧡

The app is back. 🥲

This is what the app looks like. Would you feel deceived when you tap the "Subscribe" button but get a 3-day free trial first? Honestly, I'm perplexed by how casually Google decided to hit a solo dev like that. (Particularly because they review every update but gave this a "GO")

While I understand the sentiment, this is bad. Everyone who is/was due for a renewal while the app is down, will have their subscription automatically cancelled. I'm losing customers and revenue with each passing hour. No reply from Google since 8 hours.

In case anyone is wondering where the Retro Mode weather widget went: Google took down the app without prior warning because the "Subscribe" button only says "$1/month" with no mention of the (secret) 3-day free trial. They deemed this deceptive and removed the app. 🫠
