Multitasking is a blessing and a curse! It allows us to complete many different tasks at the same time, which is beneficial in the digital age we live in. However, sometimes doing so causes us to suffer in performance for certain things as we focus on others #EM203robin
@n0lan123456 Hi Nolan,
I always knew that learning can vary person to person but, understanding why has been a great experience. I would have not know this if I was not enrolled in this course. I am excited to learn more about this!
@EM203GraceWang Hi Grace, I agree that the knowledge learned from this course can be used elsewhere. I find that is really important that a class does that.
My first lessons in EM203 really let me to explore different approaches to learning. I’ve learned a lot about how I learn best! For example, learning by doing is my ideal learning theory. This knowledge is definitely something I can apply to future online courses. #EM203Robin
The first 3 Classes were great! Got to know how technology has changed the way we learn, explored the learning theory of "Connectivism" and also learned the art of the Tango dance.#EM203Robin
@EM2023emileyt Hi Emiley,
I totally agree with your statement. I find that when I multitask it seems like I am more productive but in reality, I perform worse compared to if I just focused on one task.
@EM2023emileyt Hi Emiley, I also learned how to create it Sudoku! Yes, I agree that learning more about digital technologies will make us understand society better.
@moha5790 Hi Thushen
I’m also enjoying the first few weeks! I loved how we were tasked to learn something new, I learned how to do a sudoku. What task did you do?
I think continuing to learn about digital technologies going forward will better my understanding of our society in many ways
Hi everyone,
I am currently taking EM203 at Laurier. I just wanted to post how I have been enjoying the first couple of weeks of this course. It's been great learning how digital technologies affect us.
