Climate strike week 277. People all over the world are now protesting to demand climate justice from #COP28 currently taking place in Dubai. We need the fossil fuel lobbyists out of climate negotiations, and no more empty promises! #FridaysForFuture #ClimateStrike #PollutersOut

taylorfrancis.com/chapters/edit/… This source has some great information about the impacts of climate change such as the issues of pollution; pollution devalues our environment intrinsically and extrinsically #em203research

@EM203LCoyne Hey! After looking at your mind map an issue I think you should add is making “expenses” a topic under technology. Many new technologies could be beneficial to hospitals but they are often unaffordable if the practice is not a major one!

The first three classes of the course have been very interesting. The learning is very immersive for an OC class. A couple interesting things I learned are Tony Bate’s theory on learning by doing and the importance and use of technology and media in society today. #EM203Robin

@EM203EDSouza Hi Ethan! I have also learned the importance of technology and media in society. I’m excited to further this as the course goes on! It’s crazy to think we haven’t always had access to the technology we do now as it has become such a big part of our lives.

@em203jtanner It’s crazy to think that we haven’t always had access to the online resources we have now. I don’t think I’d have the patience to look things up in many different textbooks from the library. The digital age has definitely made learning more convenient!

Learning in a digital age has changed how we learn and one of the key reasons of this is because of the access to information. With a few clicks we can easily find research databases, libraries and online courses. #EM203Robin

@EM203EGhezzi Hey Erica! I also learned sudoku, I found it difficult at first but rewarding once finished. The one thing I took away from the lessons so far was how we are able to multitask. I always say I’m bad at it but now I know it’s because competing tasks hinder our ability to do others

I have found #EM203Robin past lessons very engaging. I especially enjoyed this week's learning activity on learning a new skill where I learned how to solve a Sudoku puzzle!

@moha5790 Hi Thushen I’m also enjoying the first few weeks! I loved how we were tasked to learn something new, I learned how to do a sudoku. What task did you do? I think continuing to learn about digital technologies going forward will better my understanding of our society in many ways

@em203kristine Hey Kristine! I also learned how to do a sudoku for my week 3 task. I love how it’s fun but also good for your brain. Week 1 made me thankful to be part of the technological age we are in! I couldn’t imagine not learning the way I do.

The first three lessons of this course have been really interesting! Week 1 was all about the digital age and how revolutionary the internet has been. Week 2, I was able to deep dive into Cognitivism. This week, I learned about the 3 M's and how to play Sudoku! #EM203Robin

Multitasking is a blessing and a curse! It allows us to complete many different tasks at the same time, which is beneficial in the digital age we live in. However, sometimes doing so causes us to suffer in performance for certain things as we focus on others #EM203robin
