Yesterday was not a good interview. When Paul didn’t answer my question logically after I had explained trademark laws as though he were five, and even though he answered in a belligerent fashion, the correct thing would have been to ask my question again and try to get him to realize he is in the wrong legally and morally and that he just needs to find a new name. I don’t like thieves. I don’t like to engage people who cannot think logically or don’t care if they are hurting or confusing people by their actions. Paul seems to be missing basic reasoning skills and for that I should have shown empathy, not blown up at him. Two wrongs don’t make a right, they say. That said, me getting pissed off and essentially losing my cool was a bad look and I feel bad about that. In all of my podcasts to-date I’ve taken pride in the fact that I am friendly and hospitable. I will do better in the future.

The maturity rule, requiring that $XEC stakes used by Avalanche peers must be confirmed by at least 2016 blocks (~2 weeks), ensures that a node selects only peers with stakes that are not on an invalid fork near the tip of the chain.
