@DeneLegalEagle I use this in my flash cards, but the full chart is larger. With colors to help with relationship markers.

@mohdictionary Mahsi cho but I gotta give props to Leroy Little Bear. He said many Indigenous languages have a periodic table of sounds instead of dictionary & it really stuck with me. I started working on developing a dene periodic table of sounds a few years ago & need to revisit it soon!

The deep unconditional love I have for our homelands is not something I really understood until I started (re)learning our language, Dënesųłıné yatie.

@DeneLegalEagle Right on, we have a few teaching styles here, root word, and prefix, then they color code them, using flashcards. I have a few sound charts as well they are really helpful, Building the words and visualizing is easier that way.

@Mackere Ioianerátie, That's really good, my boys learned as much as I knew of Kanien'keha (mohawk), they are pretty good for us all learning at the same time. About 200 speakers in our neck of the woods.

My nephew is 4 and learning to speak Pākeha/English fully atm. He’s had total immersion Te Reo Māori almost everywhere he’s been and it’s beautiful to be out w him and hear him speak in Te Reo so fluently, confidently and innocently as if that’s the norm everywhere ☺️

@DeneLegalEagle I like that, and how you're breaking the parts down to help see what the parts mean. That really helps to start seeing patterns. Nia:wen

We do not have concepts for words like good bye & thank you as neither are seen to be rooted in reciprocity. And when we love.... **swoon** 😍😍

@OxfordWords Interesting, Titan Prometheus steals a bolt from Zeus. Benjamin Franklin harnesses a bolt of lightning and changes the whole world. #thinker

@marcinthelotus I think we are far more connected than most people would think. And I tried to think it out with this article. It was old thinking I still try to understand. I'm not claiming anything.

We would eventually like to do an episode on the History of Lacrosse. If any of our indigenous listeners know of someone who is knowledgeable about its great and long history. Please reach out to us. We would like to like to have them on the show. youtube.com/watch?v=QSm8J2…

@marcinthelotus I support you @marcinthelotus, And I support all our relatives, should I use the imposed roman death cult date system, and their stars, I prefer the time system of our brothers that share the same stars.? You may not like my beliefs but they are mine, no ill will intended.
