On March 16th 2003, Rachel stood in front of a Palestinian home in Rafah and tried to prevent an Israeli bulldozer from destroying it. She was wearing an orange vest, and was yelling through a megaphone trying to persuade the driver to stop. The bulldozer ran her over. Israel said her death was an accident. They lied.
