My grandfather was born in Jaffa.
He was forced out in 1948 and never allowed to return.
Today, I’m told:
“You’re not from Jaffa — you weren’t born there.”
But someone born yesterday in Brooklyn can move there, get citizenship, and claim the land… just because they’re Jewish.
So let me get this straight:
A family that lived in Jaffa for generations — with documents, with UN recognition — is denied return.
But someone with no direct connection to the city can arrive and immediately belong?
This isn’t about history.
This is about double standards.
You can’t erase people, deny them return,
and then tell them they never belonged.
