Thanks for praying. My dad passed today after a difficult hospitalization that began on 12/25.He was 80 & his health had been gradually declining for years,so it was not unexpected. Army Ranger&Vietnam vet,he served this country proudly. My parents were married 58 years on 12/29.

Dear brothers of mine have suffered terribly at the hands of others, and every impulse in me is to go on the warpath. But that wouldn’t ultimately help them, nor would it glorify God. “Vengeance is Mine,” says the Lord.

When my friends get attacked and wrongly accused, my fangs come out and I want to defend them publicly. Like, Matthew 23-style. But I’m slowly learning Romans 12:19. God is able to defend His servants.
