That's been true of a lot of the Covid-is-a-just-standard-virus talk.

It seems most people think things are fine as they are…as long as no one mentions that vulnerable people have been in lockdown for 3 years with no foreseeable end. I suspect people only want change when “change” benefits them directly & immediately.

It’s becoming wilful ignorance and a matter of personal inconvenience. People want change yet the simplest measures are too much
