Behind the scenes with two of my favorite people: @molsands_ and @fosslien. We discussed the hidden AI tax nobody is talking about.
How do organizations know an individual's increased productivity isn't creating more work for others? With high agency and extreme ownership, how do teams stay interlocked and aligned?
89% of executives say AI is making people faster, but only 6% can point to real ROI.

When teams let AI write the first draft, they *feel* more creative but the group's collective output actually narrows. For the work that matters most, you're better off thinking first and then using AI to sharpen it. atlassian.com/blog/ai-at-wor…

The biggest AI gains are from teams running time-bound experiments on themselves. They add specific constraints like “every task scoped to X size”, or “we won’t write any code”, not just “go faster”. Not all of it works or is sustainable, but it increases learning velocity so they see massive gains in weeks not months.
