Yesterday, I was pretty direct with my 82-year-old dad and his wife. I said, "Here's what you are going to do. Tonight, you are going to turn on MSNBC at 6:00 p.m. and leave it there until at least 10:00 p.m."
They normally just watch the 10:00 news. the night 1/2 type.
The tone of my voice and the look of my eye matched my words. They said, "Okay."
