@fluffypony @TopHatCyber @monerocurrency Well thank you for responding and not denying that the wallet does this. Hopefully in your next release this can be addressed as well. I would say it would be very easy for the US gov to correlate wallets in this manner over the other ip leakage

@fluffypony @monerocurrency True but monerod also has DNS queries for seed.moneroseeds which would be easy to see. So if they're not running a monero node, like you said earlier was the most common configuration, then it would be clear they have a wallet running.
