It does that too. I commented on my business account with 12k followers that I would never pay and thought it was B.S. and my account magically disappeared the next day 🙄

Wrong. Twitters new usage policy does not violate the First Amendment as some have commented. If Twitter censored and removed posts it would. It is a service and can require compensation for use. For $8 you basically get access beyond the limit of human ability. This seems clearly aimed at preventing large scale scraping of Twitter using machines for free. Prevents large scale misinformation. Think about both the Pro’s and Con’s in an argument. Also think of the level of impact of each. This is much ado about nothing. But, stay vigilant and question everything. Expect what you inspect.
