Let Me Be Clear. I Love, Cherish, and Respect our Brave American Warriors of ICE, and I would Kill Hundreds of Thousands of People if our Supreme Leader Donald Trump Ordered Me To. God Bless Israel and America. Everything I have ever said contrary to this has been satire
Remarks@remarks

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Department of Homeland Security demands Google, Reddit, Meta, and Discord hand over personal data of users criticizing ICE.

People simply can't wrap their heads around what civilizational decline actually entails. A Roman born in the reign of Aurelius was born into the most prosperous and secure civilization in human history. He could walk from Lisbon to Armenia unmolested should he so choose, each town safe under the Aquila of Romulus. Things had been improving for many centuries; he had no reason to think this trend would not continue forever. He was better off than his grandfather, who was better off than his grandfather. Rome was perfect and eternal, the End of History made manifest. There was no one clear event where that trend stopped. But stop it did, and then began to reverse. By his grandson's day, Syrians were sitting the Imperial throne, while Dacians and Alemanni were raiding caravans on the Via Salaria itself. They hadn't (for the most part) invaded militarily. State capacity and stability had simply waned enough that migrant brigands were just another fact of everyday life now. The sestertii he had left his grandson contained around 8 times more silver than newly minted coins. The youth were contemptuous of the ancient religion, joining a myriad of strange, foreign cults that offered easy salvation (and a hot plate of lentils, and often loose women) to their adherents instead. Each year, things were a little worse than the last, then a little worse still the next year. Birthrates began to fall amid the slow, shambling chaos, while more foreigners came in each year (often as soldiers and bodyguards to men who meant to claim the throne for themselves), and coins were further debased. A quiet, creeping apocalypse. Diocletian managed to slow (and even somewhat reverse) this trend, but the damage was already done. The entity known as "Rome" lumbered on for another two-and-a-half centuries, but Rome itself was long dead. The sons of Aeneas no longer felt any connection or fealty to the corpse wearing its skinsuit. Most of them checked out, simply "Riding the Tiger", drinking and whoring and gambling their lives away as their world dissolved around them. Why would he defend the limes against the Visigoths? Why bother trying to build amidst decline, knowing the inevitable end that approaches? "Alas, we miserables! How wholly nothing are such little men! Thus shall we be together, until Orcus carries us away. Let us then live, while we may do so well." (Petronius, Satyricon - my translation).

Epstein class always project their crimes onto others. They accuse others of drug trafficking when they are the ones who sponsor cartels. They accuse others of abuse with no evidence at all, while their President is the one who rapes children with documented proof.
Daniel Di Martino@DanielDiMartino

For those interested in the situation in Bolivia. Evo Morales, former President/Dictator was running a child sex trafficking ring where he raped young children himself. He was convicted by a court and is now staging a rebellion with his paramilitary force against the state.

No one believes me when I say this, but the decline in reading is already having dire consequences for art & culture. The media you loved in your youth—shows, albums, films—was made by artists who were widely read. You will not have that quality of art in a post-literate world.

Both "magic" and "machine" trace back to the Proto-Indo-European root magh, meaning "to be able" or "to have power."
