This is what it sounds like living next to a data center. The video below was recorded at midnight, and the data center is situated next to 100s of residential homes.

This is weird. I had a data center that size as a client. It sounded nothing like this. In fact, it didn't sound like anything. What is making those noises? Jet engines? External power supplies? Sounds like we have an energy crisis. China has not limited its energy sources. Our corrupt political class has. I'd posit that instead of relinquishing the world to China, we should solve the self-inflicted problems that are hampering our ability to compete on the global stage.

If the entire Mexican tomato crop is worth less than $3B annually, how does a 17% ‘tax hike’ represent $1B? The market will adjust. California, who grows about 80x the tomatoes Mexico produces, will shift their planting mix to fill any gaps that this tariff will inflate thus doing what tariffs are supposed to do. It’s not hard.

Starting Monday, tomatoes from Mexico will have a 17% tariff slapped on them. That’s a billion-dollar tax hike on families that’s going to kill Arizona jobs, all for no good reason. It’s not too late for the administration to reverse course.
