@Tillytoo1233 @RobertLindsay Absolutely agree with your response. The guy who made the statement about the benefits should have been corrected straight away. He 'may' have witnessed people going into a benefits centre but they can't claim anything. No correcting him shows the programme in a bad light

@RobertLindsay I'm afraid I would have asked that woman where exactly in France or Germany she'd witnessed people not following the rules on rooftops. As for the benefits man, well that was a downright lie. Why did nobody challenge these people? The whole thing was bizarre.

Having watched #bbcqt it was living the nightmare again listening to the idiotic reasoning behind wanting to isolate ourselves. “Health and rooftops,straight bananas and immigrants claiming benefit having reached the shore.”!!!! please give our kids a break

@ledow2 @haveigotnews We fixed our mortgage 4 yrs ago for 10 years. At the time this was a decision based on giving us a known cost for the remainder of the mortgage term but now is the best decision we've made. Really feel for new homeowners or people who are due to end their fixed rate deals.
