@RealDianeYap Both partners doing an equal share of chores makes sense IF they also both work a comparable number of hours outside the house. You cannot expect one partner to work a full-time job AND do an equal amount of chores if the other one stays at home / works much shorter hours.

Seems obvious that leaving all of the housework to your wife makes her feel like she's your mom. Of course she gets the ick when you want sex. One hears a lot of "choreplay doesn't work" but that's because you're making it transactional. You want sex in exchange for the tasks she thinks you should be doing anyway. Of course that isn't going to turn her on. What will? Notice what needs to be done around the house and do it without her asking you. Do it cheerfully, without expectation or desire for praise. Don't expect to be paid in sex. Be the man she fell in love with instead of the little boy she has to clean up after.

You can’t make a baby without some body fat on you, which is why both female athletes and anorexics are infertile despite the former being seen as ‘healthy’. Men, on the other hand, are not designed for fat storage. There is a certain type of man who suits being fat, and you will know it when you see him - he will also be effortlessly strong and naturally big boned. It’s very sexy. But apart from that one archetype, men suffer enormously from being fat. They simply aren’t hardwired for it, and it signals a body that is hormonally imbalanced.

My propaganda is that people should be fatter and bigger. You should have a little gravity to you. But put on weight in a life-affirming way. Not out of sloth and gluttony, but out of vigor. People need to put on mass and reach the sweet spot of strength and earthiness. Stay in perpetual movement, train and nourish intentionally. A little bit in excess, a little bit of heft and plumpness, because you can. This is sexy.
