The thing about NFT season is that it doesn’t exist There are NFTs that are going to make it. There are NFTs that are not going to make it. Period. Yes… There are periods where coordinated pumps will increase prices. There are periods where expected airdrops will pump prices. There will also be low periods from a floor price standpoint. But if you keep thinking of NFT projects as cyclical speculative assets… then you are going to miss the boat on some real businesses and communities that will set the stage for the next iteration of the digital age Real NFT communities are more than speculative… The majority of people on CT are a part of at least one NFT community … probably many of them…. And likely, 8 out of 10 of the NFTs that they hold are held for speculative reasons But for most of us there is that one… maybe 2 communities that are special They hold an emotional value…. Not just a speculative value. THOSE are the communities that will last. The financial aspect won’t go away… but it will be less about “what can I sell this for” and more about “what would it take for me to part with this” Digital cults…societies…communities….or whatever you want to call them. Those NFTs and the communities behind them are what will last
