@ScaledAnd1cy ofc we do our best and we're hoping that the price cap and the post requirements deter most of the scammers, but it's totally understandable to be suspicious of any ticket listings that aren't from the main merchant

@ScaledAnd1cy every post is screened by either myself or the other mods! we can't always guarantee that every posting is legit but we have a ton of requirements to even be able to post them to begin with so the actual scam rate is far lower than just going to stubhub or another site like that

We as a society have got to stop generalizing All disabled people when it comes to accommodations and safety. What is safe for some may not be safe for others. What is accommodating for some may not work for others. But that doesn’t mean yall get to take that access away.

mobility aids do belong in the pit and if they're so worried about "messing up the turf" then maybe they shouldn't allow 3000 people on the field for a 3 hour concert during football season. also they used floor coverings for all of the other stadiums so that's a dumb ass reason

this continuous framing of ungratefulness is ableist. no one was upset about those sections. maybe about the limited capacity, but even that’s something people are used to. and believe it or not, but banning mobility aids in the pit is absolutely not the norm in the first place.

It's almost they believe privilege is a birthright and if you dont fit in with the code you are not deserving protection. Its almost like people want to protect their privlege against the people who ACTUALLY need those resources more than they do for their own self interest

i hope all of you know that it takes one illness, one fall, one accident, or simply aging to become disabled. you can become disabled at any given time in life. not helping us will affect you and we notice when you don’t speak out. it does hurt btw

also wanna preface this isn’t me saying don’t drink in the pit or that you shouldn’t drink at concerts.
have fun get drunk if you really want to. but if you do that AND think disabled ppl don’t belong in the pit you have some thinking to do.

genuinely every single show i’ve been to in the pit there’s been an issue with someone being drunk. but none of yall ever talk abt how unsafe it can be for a bunch of drunk ppl to hold a plastform up but god forbid someone with a cane gets the opportunity to do that

i will say this until i am blue in the face- mobility aid users belong in the pit. i have done countless shows in the pit as a white cane user, anywhere from barricade to the very back. this policy is a very slippery slope into discrimination +

FYI to my disabled clique. This says wheelchairs OR mobility devices. I’m genuinely shocked considering the amount of shows I’ve been to where I’ve seen wheelchair users in the pit and other mobility device users in the pit.

i’ve seen wheelchair users crowd surf.
i’ve seen disabled people be on barricades and be in pit spaces.
i’ve seen them in the back of pits dancing and having fun with friends.
you don’t see it often, but its possible.
but venues still claim they cannot safely accommodate us?

the line for the ohio show has started. once wristbands run out, we will begin the tournament-style battles to determine who will keep/acquire them. to keep it fair, anyone in need of accommodations will receive guns. good luck
