@wittgensteinien @IrokoOkapi Il faut quand même rappeler que Bayrou était président d’un parti politique dont 90% des élus se sont barrés pour rejoindre l’UMP lors de sa création. Son opposition à Sarko était un conflit personnel bien plus que politique.

@StefanFrancisci It’s a strategy but the National Rally is also not that radical anymore, they still have an image of radicalism because of political inertia but they’re not that much different from LR on most issues.

@souljagoyteller You're Not Even Wrong, but even if we look at that, it's François Bayrou. Gabriel Attal only 4 points off JLM! That aside almost every French politician is largely "not liked" in opinion polling. If you go by that measure, David Lisnard is going to storm to victory in 2027.

@solsenois @DroitardBavardd Notre seule véritable avantage c’est notre culture militaire, on recrute facilement et la plupart des partis sont favorables à des dépenses militaires importantes. En Allemagne il y a toujours un tabou sur la question militaire, ça va être dur d’encrer les depenses dans la durée.

Oui, la plupart des fêtes de village consistent à s’enquiller une bouteille de William Peel sur du Indochine mais ça n’a rien de spécifique aux campagnes on retrouve la même chose en ville hors des centres. Il n'y a rien d'honteux à vouloir organiser autre chose.

Il y a un vrai souci avec une partie de la neo-droite qui n'a plus aucune attache avec le réel. Dans nos fêtes de chasseurs et des pompiers, ici, en campagne bretonne, les gens viennent en t-shirt et casquette, la Véronique a forcé sur le rosé et elle danse sur du Magic System...

The lighting, video and audio quality in that NY Times/Carlson interview is very good. Jarring when you see the gap between then an podcasters/youtubers, many who have massive budgets. There is still a gap in taste that favours the establishment. This gap will only widen, imo
