@visionprofan @app_settings what? swipe up to unlock is still near the thumb. the reason you don’t swipe for notifications/siri on a mac is because it isn’t a touch interface. how else do you propose we get to notifications without breaking years of convention? even android swipes for notifs

@app_settings Unnecessary, I hate all of their swiping gestures. iPhones swipe to unlock was iconic cause it was near the thumb. They took an inch, tried making a mile. I don’t need to swipe to see notifications or control center or Siri on Mac. This isn’t accessible-centric across platforms.

it’s kinda funny how iOS now has a swipe indicator on both sides of the status bar lol- there’s the Control Center indicator on the Lock Screen and the Notification Center indicator after you swipe up to open :p

@swiftcordapp I’m assuming this is currently under development for macOS 26 (since there’s still a floating sidebar), I assume the app adapt to the new non-floating sidebars for a macOS 27 build too when you get to that stage?

@sayodotfun Nope! The ToS doesn't explicitly prohibit 3rd party clients, and Discord's generally very permissive as long as it doesn't run afoul of other rules.
