@CameronRestall having pack drop into center back and asking center backs to be main progressive ball carriers while having nothing at all in midfield is compounding everything constantly over run in midfield. as a team i cant remember the last time a player passed and then ran forward

I'm no expert, but it's not hard to see why we can't score. Our wingers stay very wide, and our no10 (Chaplin/Swift) drops into midfield, completely isolating the striker. We either need wingers to get inside their fullbacks, or we need to stick with Segs in the 10 #Pompey

If we do stay up, it’s actually scary the amount of investment that’s needed in the midfield and forward areas. Selling Lang might still cost us, and also seems a mental decision when the club probably knew Murphy was at risk of not playing again this season #pompey

One very minor thing to note. Umeh's injury does not free up another squad place as he is under-21 so doesn't take up one of the 25 spots. Right now #Pompey have 2 spaces. Only 24 spots were taken. Alli has arrived, Yang has departed and Kosznovszky won't be re-registered

@pn_neil_allen he should of been rotated as the 10(his best position/less toll on his body) this season and managed correctly, coming off around 60/70 min for segs. Chaplin money would of been way better spent on a right winger, no guarantees but you would certainly think it would of helped
