10 years ago today I walked into Fenchurch Street station to start my first day on the railway 🥹✨
10 years and I still feel so lucky to be able to say I love my job. From gateline/train dispatch to shunter, to mainline driver and now driving intercity, it’s been an adventure!
Update on our Class 99!
Last week, our owners Infracapital and John Smith headed to Stadler in Valencia to see the progress on our game changing Class 99, the UK’s first bi-mode heavy haul locomotives… (1/3)
Happy 100th Birthday today, to 'Mr. Airfix', artist Roy Cross! His artwork traces my formative years, they are all 'masterpieces' in their own right, not just a box-top advert for the kit inside.
Happy 13th Birthday to this special one. So proud of everything he’s achieved and the good person he is. Just waiting for the teenage Kevin to come out in him 😅🎂 Happy New Year to everyone! #HNY2024
Hi @GWRHelp - if I promise to run between platforms at Exeter St David’s, what’s the chance of you holding the 19.42 Oke train for 2 mins so passengers on the delayed Penzance train can transfer? Don’t fancy 90 mins on a cold platform!
Today's theme is 'Something Old' (Interpret this however you wish)

Normally, we're opposite the normal traffic flow, allowing us to fly "random route." Today, we will join the flow going west on the "D" and "C" tracks. (UPS212)
Looking south towards Edmonton, Alberta. In the distance is Red Deer, then Calgary.
Need a Tim Hortons? You're in luck!!! They have a few! Edmonton-131, Red Deer-9, Calgary? 150.
@KatwalkInSpace@IWMNorth@katehillconsult Fantastic thing to do and hear peoples accounts first hand. Real people, real lives, different times. The future will have many different times - situations can repeat - learn from the past and never forget. Well done and have a super day
Busy, busy weekend so far @IWMNorth in #Manchester. Wonderful to meet some war veterans with incredible stories, and help children ask questions as a #journalist might @katehillconsult. Now to prepare for tonight… 🎃👻
Andy Davies 1941-2021
It is with great sadness here at the MNLPS that we announce the passing of our long standing CME, Andy Davies
Our thoughts and condolences pass onto his family, friends and colleagues at this very difficult time
RIP Andy, thank you for everything.
We’ve had an incredibly busy week both attending and presenting at the @Moore__global European Conference remotely. Well done to our Director, Peter Morley and our Business Development & Marketing Manager Kate for their excellent sessions 👍
@Carriedcarpet@svrofficialsite@IHSOengland That was a late BR Standard moquette - possibly Network South East as I remember it on Mk1s from Oxford to Paddington with BR Class 47 or 50 locos

After 22 years of flying with you sharing numerous adventures together, sadly it’s time for you to go 💔😥
I will always miss you lots, but in my heart I’m very grateful for all the happiness you brought into my life.
My favourite aircraft forever.
Personal farewell. #TheJumboJet
