R3.2 billion Afrikaans Akademia campus underway in Pretoria
Solidarity Movement, in partnership with AfriForum and real estate developer Kanton, has begun construction on a new R3.2 billion Afrikaans Akademia campus outside Pretoria.
The project was announced in August 2024, with construction officially starting on August 11, 2025.
It is one of the largest private-sector investments in South Africa in recent years and aims to provide a world-class residential campus for 5,000 undergraduate and 1,500 postgraduate students, with completion expected by 2028.

Father's details in a child's birth certificate are very crucial no matter how of a deadbeat father he is. It's difficult to go the DNA route when he's no more. Mother's🗣️, please do this for the sake of your kids!
