We had ACC/ AHA 2026 lipid guideline seminar today (@ACCinTouch), and one recommendation really stood out: 👉 Universal lipid screening for all children aged 9–11 years This aligns with Cardiological Society of India - CSI guidelines as well. Earlier, screening was reserved for high-risk groups (like familial hypercholesterolemia). But with the rising burden of premature CAD and childhood obesity especially in South Asians, this broader approach makes sense. How many of you have had your kids’ lipid profile checked?
